THE OPPORTUNITY We're looking for a Trade-Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing industrial operation in South West Sydney.
n
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance, equipment reliability and continuous improvement, working closely with operators, supervisors and the wider maintenance team.
n
The biggest attraction? Monday to Friday, 4:00am-12:00pm - giving you a genuine early finish while still working in a technically challenging maintenance environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
n

Respond to mechanical breakdowns and diagnose faults quickly to minimise downtime.
n
Carry out preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance across plant and equipment.
n
Develop a robust understanding of site equipment, machinery and services.
n
Work closely with machine operators and supervisors to identify issues and determine appropriate repair strategies.
n
Investigate recurring equipment failures and recommend solutions to improve reliability.
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
n
n
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Machinist.
n
Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a maintenance environment.
n
Solid mechanical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance experience.
n
Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments.
n
Proven ability to investigate equipment failures and identify the root cause.
n
Strong understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance.
n
Experience with maintenance management systems - MEX experience highly regarded.
n
