The Prospect ClearHire is currently looking for experienced Excavator Operators to join established civil construction crews across South Australia.
We’re looking for operators who are confident on the machine, understand how a busy civil site operates and can work safely and efficiently as part of a crew.
This is a excellent opportunity for operators looking for consistent hours, ongoing project work and strong earning potential through overtime and applicable penalties.
What You'll Be Doing Depending on the project and your experience, duties may include:
Operating excavators across civil construction projects
Bulk excavation and earthworks
Trenching and digging around services
Loading trucks and moving material
Detailed excavation
Site preparation and clean-up
Working around ground crews and other mobile plant
Completing daily pre-starts and basic machine checks
Following site safety and operational procedures
What We're Looking For To be considered, you'll ideally have:
Previous excavator operating experience in civil construction
Relevant excavator competency/ticket
Construction White Card
Strong understanding of site safety
Ability to work effectively around other plant and ground crews
Reliable transport and ability to get to site
Good attendance and reliability
Experience with GPS, final trim, deep excavation, trenching, subdivisions or underground services will be highly regarded.
