You will supervise preclinical and clinical activities attheMelbourne Dental School, guiding safe, high-quality care for diverse patients.

What you will deliver:
n
Prepare for preclinical and clinical teaching sessions, reviewing materials,
patientrecordsandlogisticsto
supportevidence basedlearning.
n
Supervise,guideand educatestudents during preclinical and clinical sessions, focusing on skills acquisition and knowledge application.
n
Review and approve patient dental records
andclinicdocumentation,
ensuringaccurate,



compliant clinical records for every session.
n
Facilitate student feedback discussions and complete required assessment,
marking,questionnairesand
sessional administrative documentation.
n
Participate in
meetings,trainingand
compliance activities
tomaintaincredentialing,
childsafetyand high-quality teaching standards.
n
You may be a great fitifyou:
n
Hold a primary dental qualification, eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia.
n
Bring at leasttwoyears' clinical experience(varies between programs), with strong, contemporary evidence-based dental practice skills.
n
Maintain
currentAhpraregistration
with no conditions,
andcliniccredentialingappropriate
toclinical teachingon the MDS teaching clinics.
n
Demonstrate strong motivation to develop excellence in dental
education,assessmentand
student feedback.
n
Work effectively both independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to diverse
students,patientsand
academic colleagues.
n
Exhibit well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, supporting students' learning in complex preclinical and clinical environments.
