The Role
n
You will provide senior medical leadership within an integrated adult community and inpatient mental health service, working closely with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-focused, patient-centred care.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Clinical leadership and governance of a case-management team
n
Assessment and management of adults with high- and low-prevalence mental health conditions
n
Participation in the on-call roster
n
Prospect to participate in the ECT roster (training provided if required)
n
Teaching and supervision of Registrars, junior doctors and medical students
n
n
You will join a well-established and supportive Consultant group, with access to:

To Be Successful, You Will Have
n
n
FRANZCP or equivalent (substantially comparable international specialists encouraged to apply)
n
Demonstrated expertise in adult psychiatric assessment and management
n
A collaborative, patient-centred approach and strong MDT engagement
n
Interest in education, supervision and service development
n
Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and clinical governance
n
Permanent, secure specialist appointment
n
