A leading manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Supply Chain Director to lead and optimise end-to-end supply chain operations.

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving supply chain performance, building capability across teams, and ensuring operational excellence in a rapid paced, high volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead the end-to-end supply chain function.
n
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
n
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and resilient operations.
n
Manage supply chain budgets and deliver ongoing cost reduction and process optimisation initiatives.
n
Lead the S&OP; process to balance customer demand with operational capability.
n
Develop accurate demand forecasts through analysis of historical trends, market intelligence, and business insights.
n
Collaborate closely with production, procurement,



and commercial teams to ensure optimal inventory and service outcomes.
n
Oversee warehousing and distribution operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective execution.
n
Drive improvements in transport performance, inventory management, and on time delivery metrics.
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
10+ years' experience in senior supply chain leadership roles within manufacturing, food production, or other high volume operational environments.
n
Demonstrated expertise across S&OP;, inventory management, logistics and warehousing.
n
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance service, inventory, and cost objectives.
n
Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of developing and leading high performing teams.
n
