Grace Coaches is a family-owned and operated bus company with a fleet of 15 vehicles, including minibuses, school buses and coaches.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Person to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of our fleet and depot. This is a permanent full-time role offering a competitive salary and adaptable working hours.

About the role
n
This position is hands-on and suits someone who enjoys working independently, taking initiative and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
n
Washing, cleaning and detailing buses and coaches
n
General yard and depot maintenance
n
Refuelling vehicles as required
n
Moving vehicles within the depot and yard
n
Supporting drivers and operations staff as needed
n
Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues
n
Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised depot
n
Must haves
n
Good verbal and written skills
n
MR licence advantageous
n
Ability to work autonomously
n
Strong self-management and organisational skills
n
Ability to identify tasks that need to be done and take initiative
n
