We are seeking an experienced and motivated Safety & Compliance Manager to be based at our Head Office in Wangara, Western Australia
About the Role
The Safety & Compliance Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of SDA’s Health, Safety, Environmental, Compliance and Training systems.
This role works closely with company leadership, site supervisors and field crews to ensure consistent safety standards, strong regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain SDA’s safety, environmental, compliance and training frameworks
Develop, implement and maintain HSE management systems aligned with legislative and company requirements
Provide practical safety leadership and support to management, supervisors and field personnel
Conduct audits,
inspections, incident investigations and risk assessments
Liaise with clients to ensure compliance, reporting and alignment with set standards
Support site leadership through regular field engagement
Undertake periodic site visits to support operations and verify compliance
About You
You will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience in a senior safety or compliance role (drilling or mining industry experience highly regarded)
Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline
Robust leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite
High attention to detail with robust planning and time-management abilities
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset suited to a fast-paced operational environment
