At Valley Care Derbyshire, we're looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Care & Support Workers to join our friendly domiciliary care team. Whether you're experienced in care or looking for a brand-recent career, we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

£***** - £***** per hour (paid every two weeks)

35p per mile mileage allowance* (*Additional mileage paid where the distance between two consecutive calls exceeds 4 miles)

We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available and welcome people who want to join our supportive, family-focused team.

Typical Working Hours
n
n
Morning shifts: 7:00am, 8:00am until approximately 2:00pm-3:00pm
n
Evening shifts: 3:00pm-10:00pm
n
Alternate weekends
n
n
Your Role
n
As a Care & Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred care and support that enables people to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.
n
Your Responsibilities May Include
n
n
Providing personal care with dignity and respect
n
Supporting people with mobility and the safe use of equipment
n
Preparing meals and supporting with eating and drinking
n
Prompting or administering medication
n
Completing light household tasks, including cleaning, laundry and changing bedding
n
Providing companionship and emotional support
n
Encouraging independence and supporting people to access their local community
n
Delivering compassionate end-of-life care where required
n
Keeping accurate care records and reporting changes in wellbeing
n
n

You'll Need

The right to work in the UK

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
