We are currently seeking applications from experienced BlastHole Drillers for permanent, ongoing full-time positions at ourIsaac Downs Project in the Bowen Basin
(Coppabella/Moranbahregion),
operating on a 7/7 roster.
n
Reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, you will beresponsible for, but not limited to:
n
n
Operating our REICHdrill C700 and C750 platform drillrigs
n
Accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holesand recording ground conditions that may affect blasting
n
Maintaining a clean and tidy rig and
reporting/addressingany
maintenance faults
n
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular andreliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumablesusage
n
Provide neat and complete associated documentation fordrill reports, pre-starts etc
n
Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and Take 5's
n
Be willing to be trained across a variety of drill rigs inthe fleet and show an adaptable attitude
n
Willingness to learn and assist blast crew on drill & blastprojects (Isaac Downs and Baralaba)
n
n
Experience and qualifications required:
n
n
Experience using platform rotary drill rigs
n
Previous experience in Blast Hole Drilling in Black Coalmining
n
Australian Driver Licence
n
Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
n
RII for Blast Hole Drilling - RIIBHD301D/E
n
RII for Vehicle Loading Crane (preferred but notessential)
n
RII for Conduct Lifting Operations (preferred but notessential)
n
n
