TIG & MIG Welder / Fabricator Location: South-East Melbourne
n Ongoing Casual - Day Shift
n Pay Rate: $50+ per hour

We are currently looking for an experienced TIG & MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing and fabrication workshop in Melbourne's south-east.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder/fabricator looking for full time day-shift hours, competitive casual rates and the potential for ongoing work.
n
You'll be working across a variety of custom fabrication and manufacturing projects involving mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
n
About the Role
n
TIG and MIG welding across aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel
n
Fabricating and assembling custom components and structures
n
Reading and working from fabrication and workshop drawings
n
Measuring, cutting, fitting and preparing materials
n
Grinding, finishing and quality checking completed work
n
Using a range of workshop tools and equipment
n
General fabrication and workshop duties
n
Maintaining a clean,



organised and safe work environment
n
About You
n
We're looking for an experienced tradesperson who can work confidently with minimal supervision and consistently produce high‐quality work.
n
You will ideally have:
n
5+ years' welding and fabrication experience
n
Strong TIG and MIG welding skills
n
Solid fabrication and fitting experience
n
Ability to read and interpret technical/fabrication drawings
n
Experience working with aluminium highly regarded
n
Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
n
Strong reliability and work ethic
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A strong commitment to safety
n
