Job Description
This is a hands-on retail position where you will be involved in all areas of the store. You will work approximately ***** hours per week over 4–5 days, with flexibility required for weekdays, evenings and weekends, including additional hours during busy Christmas and Easter periods.

Key responsibilities

Providing friendly and helpful customer service
n
Assisting customers with product enquiries
n
Processing sales and using the POS system
n
Receiving, unpacking and replenishing stock
n
Maintaining a clean and organised store
n
Processing and packing online customer orders
n
Assisting with inventory and stock management
n
Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing regulations and RSA requirements
n
Assisting with promotions and special events when required
n
General day-to-day duties involved in running a busy independent liquor store
n

About you
n

A current NSW RSA
n
Well spoken English
n
Solid communication and customer service skills
n
Basic computer skills and confidence using computers
n
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Reliability and a good work ethic
n
Flexibility with working days and hours
n
The ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including unpacking and moving stock
n
Previous retail or liquor industry experience is desirable, but not essential
n
Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits would be an advantage
n
