Boilermaker / Welder / Fabricator – Morisset

Particular Engineering is seeking an experienced Boilermaker, Welder and/or Fabricator to join our growing Morisset workshop. Our workshop supports mechanical-services, structural fabrication, prefabrication and modular construction projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and can work safely and independently. Casual with a move to permanent full time for the right person.

Key responsibilities

Fabrication and welding of structural and mechanical-service components
n
Pipe supports, frames, brackets and associated steelwork
n
Measuring, marking, cutting, grinding, fitting and assembly
n
Reading fabrication and shop drawings
n
Fit-up, welding preparation and quality checking
n
Prefabrication and modular assembly
n
Preparing completed work for transport and site installation
n
Maintaining a safe, organised workshop
n
n




About you
n
n
Boilermaking, welding or fabrication experience
n
Ability to read drawings and work accurately from dimensions
n
Strong fabrication, measuring and fit-up skills
n
Good attention to workmanship and quality
n
Reliable attendance and a strong safety mindset
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Forklift, dogging, rigging and EWP licences are advantageous but not essential
n
