A temporary full time parental leave replacement position commencing 12 October **** until 20 December ****. The successful applicant will be required to teach Religious Education/English. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
n
Create and maintain an orderly, protected and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
n
Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
n
Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Religious Education/English.
n
Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
n
Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues,



parents /carers and the wider school community.
n
n
GENERAL CAPABILITIES

Well-developed interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

n
Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).
n
Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
n
The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.
n
n
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
n
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
n
