At Visy Logistics, we're expanding rapidly and investing in the people, systems and leadership needed to support our next phase of growth. As part of this journey, we're creating a new Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner positions to provide dedicated support across our logistics network.

This is an opportunity to step into a newly created role where you'll have genuine ownership, autonomy and the ability to influence how safety is embedded across a growing operational business.

About the role:
n
Reporting to the HSW Manager, you'll partner closely with operational leaders across warehousing, transport and logistics operations to drive a proactive safety culture.
n
This is a highly visible, field-based role. You'll spend your time where the work happens, building relationships, coaching leaders and supporting teams to manage risk effectively.
n
No two days will look the same. One day you may be supporting a warehouse operation, the next investigating an incident, reviewing heavy vehicle compliance or working with leaders to improve site safety performance.
n
What you'll do:
n
The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
n
Partner with operational leaders to improve HSW performance across the network
n
Conduct site visits, audits and risk assessments
n
Coach and support leaders to build strong safety cultures
n
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
n
Support contractor management and compliance activities
n
Provide practical advice on operational risk management
n




Support heavy vehicle compliance and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
n
What you will bring:
n
We're looking for someone with strong operational safety experience who enjoys working closely with frontline teams.
n
You'll bring:
n
Experience within logistics, transport, warehousing or related operational environments
n
Strong understanding of risk management and safety systems
n
Exposure to heavy vehicle operations and Chain of Responsibility requirements (highly regarded)
n
Experience with areas such as traffic management, contractor management, LOTO, working at heights or high-risk operational activities
n
The ability to influence, coach and build credibility at all levels of the business
n
Most importantly, you're a practical, hands-on safety professional who partners with people rather than polices them.
