UHI Machinery is looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Staff member to join our Sunshine West team on a part time basis.

This is a hands-on role supporting daily warehouse and branch operations, including receiving and dispatching machinery and parts, forklift operation, stock management and general warehouse duties.

The position is initially 3 days per week, with an hourly rate of $36 + super.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Unload shipping containers and incoming deliveries
n
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
n
Load and unload machinery, parts and deliveries
n
Organise, manage and maintain warehouse stock
n
Pick and pack customer orders
n
Assist with basic machinery assembly and preparation
n
Assist mechanics with pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
n
Support the sales and service teams with daily operations
n
Maintain accurate customer records and delivery/pickup documentation
n
Coordinate with other branches and internal departments regarding stock and parts
n




Keep the warehouse and yard clean, safe and well organised
n
Assist with general branch duties and other tasks as required
n

What we're looking for
n
n
A current and valid Forklift Licence is essential
n
Minimum 2 years' forklift operating experience
n
Previous warehouse or yard experience is required
n
Knowledge of machinery or the construction/agricultural industry is an advantage
n
Previous machinery operating experience is preferred but not essential
n
Reliable, physically fit and able to perform manual work
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
