We're looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at Brisbane Airport. This is more than a traditional operations role. About the Role
n
You'll be responsible for coordinating import and export shipments across air and sea, managing jobs end-to-end while acting as a key link between operations, sales and customers.
n
This role goes beyond a traditional import/export operations position. It offers exposure toa wide variety of cargo, including out-of-gauge, project, and non-standard shipments that require creative thinking and adaptability.
n
You'll need to be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders, adapting your communication style as needed, and confidently influencing outcomes where a better approach may be available.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage end-to-end import and export operations across air and sea
n
Coordinate bookings, transport, and all shipment documentation
n
Regularly liaise with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of processes
n
Ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements
n
Provide clear, proactive updates to clients and internal teams
n
Identify, escape,



and resolve operational challenges — often requiring creative solutions
n
Support a range of shipment types, including FCL, LCL, out-of-gauge, and project cargo
n
n
Working Hours
n
This is a full-time position with standard office hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm.

About You
n
n
Experience in freight forwarding (imports knowledge essential; exports knowledge highly regarded)
n
Exposure to both sea and air freight operations
n
Strong understanding of shipping documentation and processes
n
Able to follow processes accurately, while also confidently suggesting and driving improvements
n
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade when needed
n
Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
n
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
n
CargoWise experience is highly regarded
n
