This is a hands‐on, heavily mechanical role where your electrical skills are combined with mechanical fitting, assembly, plumbing, equipment installation and commissioning.

You won't just be wiring equipment and walking away. You'll be involved in the complete build from start to finish.

About the Role
n
We're looking for an experienced A-Grade Industrial Electrician to join our production team at our Laverton North workshop.
n
This is not a traditional electrician role.
n
While your electrical trade and experience are important, the role is heavily focused on mechanical assembly and the complete construction of our equipment.
n
You'll work alongside our mechanical tradespeople and be trained in the mechanical side of our builds, developing skills in mechanical fitting, pipework, pumps, valves, hose assemblies, equipment installation and general fabrication/assembly.
n
Your electrical skills will then be used to complete the electrical installation, wiring,
testing and commissioning of the finished equipment.
n
The result is a genuinely multi‐skilled role combining electrical and mechanical work.

What You'll Be Doing

Electricaln

Building and wiring electrical control panels
n
Electrical fit‐out and skid wiring
n
Connecting pumps, controls, sensors and associated equipment
n
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
n
Electrical testing and commissioning
n
Fault finding and troubleshooting
n
n
Mechanicaln
n
Mechanical assembly and equipment installation
n
Fitting pumps, valves, pipework and associated components
n
Hose assembly and installation
n
Mechanical fit‐out of fuel and AdBlue systems
n
Assisting with tank and equipment assembly
n
Using hand and power tools
n
Learning and developing mechanical fitting skills
n
Working with mechanical trades to complete full project builds
n
General workshop assembly and fabrication tasks
n
n
Project Completionn
n
Working on projects from initial build through to completion
n
Testing and commissioning completed equipment
n
Identifying and resolving issues during the build process
n
Working closely with the Production Team
n
Ensuring completed equipment meets A-FLO's quality standards

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for an A-Grade Electrician who enjoys working with their hands and isn't afraid to get stuck into the mechanical side of a build.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
A-Grade Electrical Licence - VIC
n
Industrial electrical experience
n
Strong fault‐finding ability
n
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
n
Valuable mechanical aptitude
n
A willingness to learn mechanical fitting
n
Comfortable using hand and power tools
n
Practical, hands‐on approach
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Reliable and self‐motivated
n
