We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager - Estimating to lead a team that supports estimating operations across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems, developing people and using data to make smarter operational decisions.

You'll lead a team of Estimating Administrators, Business Analysts and offshore support staff, ensuring workflows run smoothly, service levels are met and pricing information remains accurate and reliable.

What you'll be doing
n
Leading the day-to-day operations of the estimating support function
n
Managing workflow, team capacity and turnaround times
n
Building a strong customer service culture across the team
n
Coaching and developing team members to achieve high performance
n
Working closely with Quoting, Ordering and operational stakeholders nationally
n
Overseeing pricing schedules, cost models and estimating data integrity
n
Identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes
n
Using data and reporting to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
n




Driving continuous improvement initiatives across systems and ways of working
n
What we're looking for
n
You may come from estimating, construction administration, procurement, operations or a similar environment. More important than your title is your ability to lead people, improve processes and keep a complex operation running effectively.

Experience leading and developing operational or estimating teams
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
A collaborative approach and confidence working with stakeholders across a business
n
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
n
Experience working with pricing, cost models or business data
n
A continuous improvement mindset and a practical approach to problem solving
n
Experience in the residential building or construction industry (highly regarded)
