The role:
An innovative, globally recognised Australian engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a confident, high-achieving Finance Manager / CFO. Working in a tight-knit team workplace alongside the General Manager, you will lead the finance department and drive corporate governance for a major, large-scale commercial operation.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Manage the finance team, optimise Pronto ERP, and deliver month-end processes, P&L; statements, and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Commercial Strategy: Drive the annual budgeting, strategic planning,
and cash flow forecasting with transparent variance commentary
Project Costing: Oversee robust project costing and tracking to protect and optimise manufacturing profitability margins
Taxation & Treasury: Complete and lodge BAS, FBT, and GST; manage high-level banking relationships and external audits
Governance: Act as Company Secretary, managing Board packs, meetings, and strict Corporations Act compliance
The Person:
Minimum 5+ years of senior post-graduate accounting experience
Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting with mandatory CPA or CA status
Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to advise senior management and the Board
Versatile and willing to undertake domestic and overseas travel as required
