We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of the successful delivery of a range of civil construction projects, including subdivisions, bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, sewer and water infrastructure.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and capable Project Manager who enjoys being actively involved in projects and working closely with site teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors.

About the Role
n
As a Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from commencement through to completion, with a strong focus on safety, quality, program and commercial performance.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Managing multiple civil construction projects across South East Queensland.
n
Planning and programming works to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
n
Leading and supporting Project Engineers, Foremen, Supervisors and site teams.
n
Managing project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking and monthly reporting.
n
Preparing and managing variations, extensions of time and contractual claims.
n
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.
n
Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction methodologies.
n
Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.
n
Maintaining strong quality assurance and WHS standards.
n
Attending client and project meetings and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
n
Assisting with procurement, subcontractor engagement and project planning.
n
Ensuring accurate project documentation, reporting and administration.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
n
Demonstrated experience managing civil construction projects, preferably in subdivisions and civil infrastructure.
n
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
n
Experience managing project budgets, variations and forecasting.
n
A sound understanding of civil construction methodologies, sequencing and programming.
n
Strong leadership and communication skills.
n
The ability to build positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
n
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to be involved in the day-to-day delivery of projects.
n
A strong commitment to safety and quality.
n
n
Experience working on projects involving earthworks, roads, stormwater, sewer, water reticulation and subdivisions will be highly regarded.
