About the role
n
Due to continued growth and a solid pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Roof Tiler to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. The successful applicant will work on residential roofing projects throughout metropolitan Melbourne, supported by an experienced team and appropriate tools and equipment.
n
Base salary of $80,000–$85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
n
Superannuation paid in addition to the base salary
n
Consistent pipeline of residential roof repair and restoration work
n
Supportive, established and safety-focused team
n
Company vehicle, fuel card and work equipment may be provided, depending on experience and operational requirements
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install, repair and restore tiled roofing systems
n
Inspect roofs and identify damaged tiles, leaks and other roofing defects
n
Remove and replace broken, damaged or deteriorated roof tiles
n
Carry out roof re-bedding and re-pointing
n
Repair roof leaks and complete associated restoration work
n
Measure and calculate the materials required for each project
n




Ensure all roofing work is completed accurately and to a high standard
n
Follow workplace health and safety requirements and safe-work procedures
n
Maintain clean, organised and safe worksites
n
Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects on schedule
n
Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors and other trades
n

Qualifications and experience
n
Applicants must have:
n
n
A Certificate III in Roof Tiling or an equivalent relevant trade qualification
n
At least two years of relevant roof-tiling experience
n
Demonstrated experience in tiled-roof installation, repairs and restoration
n
Experience with roof re-bedding, re-pointing and tile replacement
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
The physical ability and competency to work safely at heights
n
A valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Availability to work at sites across metropolitan Melbourne
n
A strong commitment to workplace safety and customer service
n
Applicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights or be eligible to obtain the required work authorisation. Employer sponsorship may be considered for a suitably qualified applicant who meets the position and applicable visa requirements.
