As a Distribution Connectivity Specialist, you'll be the trusted expert responsible for connecting and maintaining land product distribution across key platforms and supplier integrations.
n
You'll play a critical role in ensuring product availability remains accurate, reliable, and functional while partnering with internal teams, suppliers, channel managers, and technical stakeholders.
n
This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, relationship management, and problem solving to deliver seamless connectivity outcomes across Flight Centre Travel Group.
n
This role can be based in all AU cities with a Flight Centre head office.
n
What you will do:
n
Respond to and resolve incoming connectivity queries within agreed SLA timeframes, effectively prioritising multiple requests
n
Establish, test, and maintain reliable API and channel manager connections for land products
n
Collaborate with suppliers, connectors, channel managers, and internal technical partners to ensure accurate product connectivity
n
Take ownership of connectivity issues from identification through to successful resolution
n
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes when issues sit outside direct team control
n
Operate across connection management systems and tools including Postman, Splunk, HotelHub, Central/TravelBox, and Salesforce
n
Monitor and maintain connectivity performance to ensure product availability remains accurate and reliable
n
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted point of contact for connectivity support
n
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
n
Utilise AI-assisted tools and technologies to improve analysis, efficiency, and process quality
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational effectiveness and competitive advantage
n
What you will need:
n
Minimum 4 years' travel industry experience in distribution, systems support, or a related technical environment
n
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex connectivity or integration issues
n
Demonstrated experience working with APIs, channel managers, or distribution connectivity platforms
n
Experience using systems such as Postman, Splunk, Salesforce, HotelHub, and Central/TravelBox
n
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
n
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
n
Strong problem-solving and analytical capability
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure
n
Self-motivated, self-driven, and highly team-oriented approach
n
Ability to work across multiple time zones, including occasional out-of-hours meetings when required
