Truck Fleet Maintenance Mechanic – Full Time

Multiquipis a national organisation supporting Australia's livestock industry through safe, reliable transport services. Our fleet plays a critical role in live bird transport, bulk feed delivery, and egg transport across the country.

We are seeking an experienced Truck Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Loganholme depot. This role is ideal for someone with practical mechanical experience who can keep a busy fleet moving by tackling day to day issues, identifying faults early, addressing driver fault reports ensuring vehicles remain safe and operational. Major repairs are outsourced to specialist workshops — your focus is on fast, effective frontline maintenance.

Shift: Monday to Friday with Saturday shifts available

Your Responsibilities
n
n
Diagnose and repair day to day mechanical issues on trucks and trailers
n
Conduct routine servicing and basic mechanical maintenance
n
Perform tyre repairs and replacements
n




Identify or follow up driver fault reports and escalate major repairs to external workshops
n
Carry out general inspections and safety checks
n
Support breakdown response when required
n
Maintain clean, secure work areas and assist with general yard duties
n
Work independently and take initiative to keep the fleet operational
n

About You
n
n
Hands‐on experience with truck or heavy trailer fleet maintenance (no trade qualification required, but is preferred)
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skills
n
Ability to work unsupervised and make sound decisions
n
Reliable, safety‐focused, and committed to quality workmanship
n
Able to work Monday to Friday with flexibility for occasional overtime
n
