About the job Chef Full Time Indian Cuisine

Maple Indian Gourmet Restaurant is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team in Kippa-Ring, QLD. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to our menu and recipes
Ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes served
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Monitor and manage inventory levels and food costs
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
Collaborate with management to develop recent menu items and specials
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings
Maintain a positive and skilled attitude while working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:




Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant
Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or above relevant qualification
Strong knowledge of Indian spices and cooking techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Salary: $73150 to $76000 plus Superannuation
