About the role

This is an opportunity to take your finance and bookkeeping experience somewhere a little different. Rather than working in a traditional finance environment, you'll be part of a growing technology and manufacturing business where you can see the products, people and projects behind the numbers. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across accounts, reconciliations and financial administration, work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager and broader management team, and gain exposure to a fascinating mix of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and operations.

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across accounts, reconciliations and financial administration
n
Work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager and broader management team
n
Gain exposure to a fascinating mix of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and operations
n
Work with Australian and international suppliers and systems including Xero and MRPeasy
n
Help improve finance processes and systems as the business scales
n
Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements




n
Complete bank and credit-card reconciliations
n
n
About you
n
n
Demonstrated bookkeeping, Accounts Officer or accounts administration experience
n
Strong practical experience using Xero
n
Good knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
Experience completing bank and credit-card reconciliations
n
Experience processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements
n
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
The ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines
n
Confidence identifying errors, discrepancies and missing information
n
Positive written and verbal communication skills
