Henry Plant & Equipment Hire are a family-owned business employing locals for the past 60 years, we pride ourselves on delivery high quality, reliable solutions for our clients. We specialise in Earthmoving, Heavy Haulage Transport & Crane Hire and are looking to expand our team within the Earthmoving division.

Qualifications & experience
n
Previous demonstrated experience operating earthmoving plant/machinery in similar environments
n
Minimum 1-2 years of earthmoving plant/machinery experience required
n
An understanding of Work Safety and Health, and ability to understand and follow operating procedures and instruction.
n
Commitment to working in a safety-conscious environment.
n
We are looking for a Plant Operator who can keep accurate daily records of Plant Equipment to ensure optimal production levels. You will be required to communicate with Clients, Supervisors and co-workers.
n
Valid White Card and unrestricted right to work in Australia
n
Experience operating various plant ranging from Excavators, Loaders, Bulldozers, Rollers, Graders and Dump Trucks.
n
Demonstrated experience operating at least 2 different types of plant equipment from the range of Excavators, Loaders, Bulldozers, Rollers, Graders and Dump Truck
n




All mandatory high risk work licences required for plant equipment operation
n
Tasks & responsibilities
n
Preparing & positioning machinery prior to operation
n
Choosing, fitting, operating and removing any attachments
n
Using controls to operate machinery and perform tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring that safety and environmental rules are strictly adhered to.
n
Manoeuvring machinery to, from and around work sites
n
A current C class (standard) car licence is required for travel to various work sites with no restrictions
n
Monitoring gauges and controls to ensure machinery is operating correctly, completing pre-inspections and 103's.
n
Working from drawings, specifications and verbal instruction
n
Work on various project sites in a variety of industries, from civil earthmoving, mining to private earthworks.
n
