The Opportunity – Repair Technician
n
We're expanding and need motivated, hands‐on repairers to help us keep delivering high‐quality service. As a Repair Technician in our Norwest Repair Centre, your role is vital – you'll restore devices, solve technical issues, and help customers get back to what they love.
n
You'll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in precision, speed, and great service. Every device you fix makes a real difference.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
n

Diagnosing and repairing electronic and mechanical devices – fast, safe, and to the highest standard
n
Troubleshooting faults and performing in-depth inspections
n
Working independently to manage repair queues while keeping quality front of mind
n
Maintaining a safe, clean, and well‐organised workbench
n
Being a team player – supporting your team and growing your skills
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Hands‐on experience in device repairs (robotic or consumer electronics highly desirable)
n




Tech‐savvy troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
n
Ability to lift up to 25kg
n
Self‐motivation and great time management
n

Qualifications / Skills Required
n
n
Proven experience with electronic or mechanical device repairs; experience with robot vacuum cleaners is highly desirable.
n
Proven experience with Google Device repair is highly desirable
n
Strong problem‐solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on precision and efficiency.
n
Physical ability to lift up to 25KG
n
Excellent organisational and time management abilities to manage repair schedules effectively.
n
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
n

A fitness and capability check (lifting and moving parts is part of the job)

Final onboarding including police check (we'll help with this)

A quick heads-up: This role includes some physical tasks like lifting parts or equipment (up to 25kg) and keeping the workspace moving. You may be asked to complete a quick fitness check during the hiring process. Random drug and alcohol testing may also apply during your time with us as part of our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace.

A final note: Police checks form part of the onboarding process at PTC. If it's needed for your role, we'll make sure the process is simple and well-supported
