Workshop spool fabrication and sustaining capital works

The Opportunity
n
We're seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating and tendering across our mining and utilities portfolio.
n
This is a hands-on estimating role for someone who knows how to build first-principles estimates, manage tenders and help win work.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Lead estimates, tenders and proposals from enquiry to submission.
n
Develop accurate first-principles estimates for labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
n
Leverage industry relationships to identify opportunities and support business growth.
n
Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor networks.
n
Develop methodologies, qualifications, assumptions and clarification registers.
n
Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
n
Support contract negotiations and project handover.
n




Mentor and develop junior estimating resources.
n
Improve estimating systems, cost libraries and benchmarking.
n
About You
n
You are an experienced estimator with a proven track record pricing infrastructure projects across the mining, utilities or water sectors.
n
You will have:
n
7+ years estimating experience within pipelines, utilities, water infrastructure, civil or mining projects.
n
Solid commercial judgement and construction knowledge.
n
Established supplier and subcontractor relationships.
n
The ability to independently manage tenders from enquiry through to submission.
n
Highly Regarded
n
Water Corporation or major utilities experience.
n
Mine dewatering, borefield, water or tailings infrastructure experience.
n
HDPE, PVC and steel pipeline experience.
n
Existing relationships with WA utilities, mining contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
