Senior Cyber Security Adviser with NV1 - ERP, Cloud & Security Assurance, Canberra

Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days per week

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain NV1. Existing Baseline, NV1 or NV2 clearance highly regarded.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Adviser to provide security architecture, assurance and hands-on advisory support for a major enterprise ERP transformation within a complex Government environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide end-to-end cyber security advice across ERP solution design, implementation, testing, go-live and transition to operations.
n
Provide security architecture and assurance across Workday, ServiceNow, AWS and Azure environments.
n
Conduct security risk assessments, threat assessments, control gap analysis and risk treatment planning.
n
Assess SaaS and cloud solutions against ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and relevant Australian Government security requirements.
n
Develop and review security plans, accreditation artefacts, control assessments and security recommendations.
n
Provide advice across IAM, privileged access, RBAC, segregation of duties, MFA and Zero Trust.
n
Assess cross-cloud connectivity, API and integration security, encryption, key management, logging, monitoring and vulnerability management.
n
Support security testing,



incident and data spill planning, remediation and go-live security readiness.
n
Review vendor security architecture and controls and provide clear risk-based advice to senior stakeholders.
n

About You
n
You will have strong experience across:
n
n
Cyber security architecture and security assurance within complex enterprise environments.
n
ERP security architecture or major ERP transformation programs.
n
Workday security/platform experience - highly desirable.
n
ServiceNow security and platform governance.
n
AWS and Azure security architecture, ideally including cross-cloud
integration/connectivity.
n
SaaS security assessment against ISM and Government security requirements.
n
IAM and Zero Trust architecture.
n
ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and security accreditation/IRAP environments.
n
Security risk assessments, incident response and data spill planning.
n
Security Design Authority or security assurance for major technology/ERP implementations.
n
Australian Government or similarly regulated environments.
n
n
Robust stakeholder engagement and written communication skills are essential, including the ability to translate complex cyber risks into clear recommendations and decision papers for senior stakeholders.
