headspace Centresact as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/orwork and study support.

Permanent, part-time (4 days per week) prospect available

Role overview:
n
n
Acts as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff.
n
Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff
n
Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients
n
General Office duties including opening and distribution of mail typing, scanning, filing and archiving
n
Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day.
n
Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
Ideally a Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification
n
Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
n
Knowledge of the health /NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
n
Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team
n
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills
n
Well-developed customer service skills
n
Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people.
n
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
n
Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality
n
Must have good availability
n
Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
n
Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
n
A current unencumbered driver's license
n
n
