About the Role
n
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Safety & Training Administrator to join our team at the Appin Project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of health, safety, training, and administrative functions within a dynamic mining environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate site training, assessments, inductions and external training requirements.
n
Maintain accurate training records, competency matrices, and compliance reporting.
n
Manage employee medical and screening requirements.
n
Support compliance with Safety Management Systems, statutory regulations, and workplace risk management processes.
n
Coordinate workplace inspections, task observations, incident investigations, and reporting activities.
n
Assist with injury management, rehabilitation, site administration, and provide support to Project Managers, Superintendents, and the wider site team.

About You:
n
n
Previous experience in site administration, ideally within a mining, construction, or industrial environment.
n
Exposure to Safety Management Systems and an understanding of workplace compliance requirements.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
n
Advanced computer skills, particularly across the Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite, with strong attention to detail and record management capabilities.
n
Proven ability to problem solve, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
n
