We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Rocklea. This is a hands‐on role supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
n

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment.
n
Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently using schematics and technical drawings.
n
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives (VFDs), switchgear, PLCs and communication systems.
n
Ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime across the site.
n
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
n
Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support production requirements.
n
Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.
n
n
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
n
n
Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
n
Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician.
n
Strong knowledge of VFD motor drives, switchgear, PLCs and industrial communication systems.
n
Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Solid understanding and application of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
n
