Life at our place is full — school pick-ups, afternoon tea chats, a diary that never sits still, and a mum juggling a busy work schedule that includes interstate and international travel. We're looking for someone reliable, organised and caring who can confidently hold the home front together and become a trusted part of our family's routine.

If you're the kind of person who gets satisfaction from a well-stocked fridge, an organised home, a folded basket of laundry and picking up a 9‐year‐old with afternoon tea already planned, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
School pick-ups & afternoons — collecting Miss 9 from school, managing the after‐school stretch and having afternoon tea sorted
n
Meals & groceries — meal planning, grocery shopping and some light cooking (we have a team that cooks, so this isn't an everyday requirement)
n
Home care — light cleaning, tidying and keeping shared spaces calm and organised
n
Laundry — washing, folding and ironing (the never‐ending kind, we know!)
n
Diary support — helping keep the family calendar organised and on track
n
Homework help — providing some hands‐on support with schoolwork
n
Extra hands when it counts — helping with birthdays, functions and occasionally attending a school parent/teacher interview when Mum is interstate or overseas
n

What we're hoping you'll bring:

Warmth, patience and a genuine enjoyment of working with children and families
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to see what needs doing and get on with it
n
Reliability, initiative and good judgement
n
A calm, practical and can‐do approach when life gets busy
n
Flexibility around working hours, including some weekend availability
n
Ability and willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, from time to time
n
Previous experience in a family assistant, nanny, household support or similar role would be highly regarded
n

Because this is a trusted role working within our home and with our child, the successful applicant will need to have:
n

A current Working with Children Check
n
A satisfactory National Police Check
n
A current unrestricted driver's licence and confidence driving as part of the role
n
The right to work in Australia
n
Ability to undertake some travel (domestic and international) when required
n
Suitable references from previous employers or families
n
n
This is more than a traditional nanny or housekeeper role. We're looking for someone who enjoys the variety of family life and is equally comfortable helping with a school pick‐up, organising the week ahead, getting through the washing or making sure there's something in the fridge for dinner.
