Southport Day Hospital is seeking an experienced Theatre Nurse with experience in Scrub / Scout / Recovery (PACU) to join our team.
n
Applicants must be RN or EN qualified and have previous experience working as a theatre nurse.
n
Interesting / varied work - a range of specialist surgeons use our day theatre
n
Calm & professional NUM - who is hands on, working in theatre with the team
n
Day Shifts only - Monday to Friday
n
No nights or weekends
n
Accredited Day Surgery
n
Immediate Start Available

About Southport Day Hospital: Established in ****, and under new ownership since ****, Southport Day Hospital (SDH) is standalone boutique day surgery located in Southport on the Gold Coast. SDH is a fully accredited, Queensland Health licensed facility, specialising inday only procedures including :
Cosmetic & Plastic / Dermatology / Surgical Podiatry / Hand Surgery / Vein Treatments / Dental procedures.

About the Role: SDH is searching for a special person to support our existing theatre team in theatre.
n
This position has the potential to offer addition work to assist our NUM with duties.
n
About You - You are a passionate RN with
n
Minimum of 12 months experience in theatre setting (scrub, scout, PACU)
n
Current Registration with AHPRA (essential)
n
Ability to support theatre staff in a collaborative team environment
n
Flexibility with rosters (day shifts only – Monday to Friday)
n
Ability to deliver excellent clinical care to patients
n
