The Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a Construction Engineer to join a leading civil engineering and land development consultancy in Melbourne.
n
Working closely with project managers, contractors, developers and local authorities, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of subdivision and civil infrastructure projects.
n
This position offers the chance to be involved in all stages of project delivery, ensuring quality, programme, safety and commercial outcomes are achieved.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate and oversee construction activities across land development projects.
n
Manage delivery of roads, drainage, earthworks, water, stormwater, sewer, utilities
n
Monitor construction programmes and contractor performance.
n




Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
n
Review engineering drawings, specifications and construction methodologies.
n
Liaise with clients, contractors, utility providers and local authorities.
n
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, council requirements and project specifications.
n
Identify and resolve technical construction issues.
n
Support project reporting, quality assurance and project documentation.
n
Assist with contract administration and project delivery activities.
n

Experience & Qualifications Required
n
n
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
n
3-6 years' experience within land development in a similar role
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
n
Knowledge of Australian design Standards and local authority requirements.
n
n
You will need Full working rights and local Australian experience to be considered for this position.
