Located near Cloncurry in North West Queensland, Eloise Copper Mine is an established underground operation producing high-grade copper concentrate. About the Role:
n
We are seeking a HV Diesel Fitter to work within our Mobile Maintenance Department to execute both planned and breakdown maintenance on our fleet of Sandvik Cat and Volvo mobile equipment.
n
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor you will work with mining and maintenance personnel to ensure equipment availability is optimised and asset management work is performed.
n
The core role requirements are:
n
Breakdown maintenance on Sandvik, Cat and Volvo equipment as well as axillary equipment.
n
Planned and periodic maintenance on all equipment.
n
Where required liaise with OEMs and other parts suppliers.
n
The position is offered from Townsville or Brisbane on a ***** day or ***** night roster. Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply.

Accommodation is provided onsite at the Eloise Copper Mine; 65km from Cloncurry.
n
About You:
n
3+ years HV fitter experience (underground fleet experience preferred).
n
Manual QLD driver's license.
n
Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment and police clearance.
n
A strong communicator and team player who wants to make a difference.
