The Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team based in Richmond, VIC ****. This full-time role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our medical professionals and patients. Previous experience in managing a business's social media campaign and profile would be highly advantageous.

What you'll be doing
n
Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
n
Scheduling appointments, managing patient records and coordinating referrals
n
Handling patient enquiries and booking procedures over the phone, in person or via email
n
Assisting with the preparation of medical documentation and reports
n
Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
n
Supporting the medical team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
n
Managing and implementing social media campaign whilst adhering to APHRA guidelines
n
What we're looking for
n
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with patients, medical professionals and other stakeholders
n




Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail
n
Proficient in using medical software, electronic patient records and other office technology
n
A calm and professional demeanour, especially when dealing with sensitive situations
n
A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
