An opportunity has presented itself for a Level 3 Terminal Operator to join our Tennyson Intermodal team. This is your opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that plays a vital role in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
n
As a Level 3 Terminal Operator, you'll play a critical role in the coordination, planning, and safe execution of train movements within the terminal.
n
Reporting to the Supervisor, your day-to-day will include:
n
n
Efficient assembly and dismantling of trains
n
Operating top lift container forklifts and other load-shifting equipment
n
Processing freight and documentation into a computerised system
n
Conducting train examinations and brake testing
n
Supporting shunting activities as required
n
Adhering to all safe-working and operating procedures
n
n
This role operates on a rotating shift roster,
including nights and weekends.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Heavy Forklift Licence
n
Full Driver's Licence
n
General computer proficiency
n
Experience in train inspection, ground shunt, and trackside safety
n
Safety-first mindset and strong accountability
n
Team player with a proactive attitude
n
