Job Description
ICT Project Manager (EL1 Equivalent)

Location: Hobart, ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD or TAS
n Work Type: 12 Month Contract + 12 Month Extension
n Working Arrangement: Hybrid
n Security Clearance: Must hold a Baseline Clearance

About the Opportunity
n
We are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead and deliver a range of technology initiatives focused on enhancing ICT capabilities across geographically dispersed and remote operating environments.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled project professional who enjoys working on complex ICT programs, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and delivering critical technology outcomes in challenging environments.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Developing and managing end-to-end ICT project plans, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
n
Managing project resources, budgets, schedules and deliverables.
n
Applying and adapting project delivery methodologies including PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, SAFe and hybrid approaches.
n
Building robust stakeholder relationships across business, technical and executive teams.
n
Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks and issues.
n
Ensuring technology solutions meet required quality standards and business objectives.
n
Facilitating collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners.
n
Preparing and presenting project status reports, briefings and governance documentation.
n
Managing stakeholder expectations through effective communication and engagement.
n
Working within complex and changing environments, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
n
Representing ICT interests on project boards, steering committees and governance forums.
n
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within project delivery functions.
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
Proven experience as an ICT Project Manager or Project Coordinator within a technical workplace.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly relating to technical communications technologies.
n
Experience working across ICT infrastructure and telecommunications environments.
n
Sound knowledge of satellite, networking and radio communications technologies.
n
Previous experience delivering ICT projects within government environments.
n
Demonstrated success managing projects in remote locations or geographically dispersed environments.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n
Strong organisational, planning and leadership capabilities.
n
The ability to remain resilient, adaptable and outcome-focused in complex delivery environments.
n
Requirements
n
Must hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
n
Availability to commence in September ****.
n
Capacity to work up to 40 hours per week.
n
