Emerging Scholars Council invites applications for a PhD project focused on non-destructive in-situ diagnostics of metallic lithium plating in lithium-ion cells. The successful candidate will develop a multimodal approach based on diffraction and small-angle scattering using X-rays and neutrons, enabling direct separation of bulk intercalation from plating for real cell formats.
