Rockmount is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precast concrete manufacturing business based in Chullora. This is a Temp to Perm prospect - you'll start on assignment through Rockmount, with a genuine pathway to permanent employment with our client after 6 months. No experience in precast? No dramas - full on-the-job training is provided.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Un-assembling and re-assembling precast concrete moulds
n
Preparing reinforcement materials for precast concrete panels and products
n
Using hand and power tools to prepare moulds and forms
n
Assisting with the pouring and placement of concrete, including screeding and shovelling
n
Stripping moulds once concrete has set
n
Patching, grinding and finishing concrete products
n
General labouring duties including cleaning and housekeeping within the production area
n

What you'll need:
n
n
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work
n
Reliable with a strong work ethic
n
Experience in manufacturing, construction or precast concrete is regarded, but not required - full training given to the right person
n
Forklift licence highly regarded, though not essential
n
Have your own PPE
n
n
