Due to a strong and growing pipeline of works, we are seeking a proactive and site-focused HSE Officer to support the implementation of workplace health and safety systems across our construction projects.
n
This role suits someone who enjoys being out on site, working closely with project teams, and contributing to a strong safety-first culture through practical, hands-on support.
n
* Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of HSE policies, procedures, and systems across construction sites,
n
n
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance,
n
Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations, including reporting and corrective actions,
n
Monitor subcontractor and contractor compliance with HSE requirements,
n
Maintain HSE documentation, registers, and records,
n
Provide practical HSE advice and support to site managers, supervisors, and workers,
n
Promote safe work practices and encourage proactive hazard and incident reporting,
n
Assist with emergency preparedness and response procedures on site,
n
Other duties as requested by the HSE Manager.

About The Candidate
n
n
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (preferable),
n
General Construction Induction Card (White Card (essential)),
n
Previous experience in a HSE or safety role within the construction or civil industry,
n
Working knowledge of HSE legislation and site-based safety practices,
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage site teams at all levels,
n
Organised, proactive, solid attention to detail and comfortable working across multiple sites,
n
First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, and Silica Awareness training (essential).
n
