About the role:
n
As a Reverse Mortgage Broker, you'll manage a pipeline of warm enquiries and guide clients through the end-to-end lending process, from initial conversation through to settlement.
n
This isn't a transactional sales role. You'll be working with an older demographic, so success comes from patience, trust-building, and doing the right thing.
n
You will:
n

Manage and convert a steady flow of inbound leads
n
Educate clients on reverse mortgage products and suitability
n
Prepare and submit credit proposals
n
Assess financial documents, including bank statements




n
Identify and manage risks (e.g. vulnerability, elder abuse, gambling)
n
Maintain compliance with responsible lending obligations
n
Provide ongoing communication and support throughout the process
n
n
About you:
n
You're a confident financial services professional who combines sales ability with empathy and strong ethics.
n
We're looking for:
n
n
Proven experience in financial services and/or sales
n
Strong understanding of responsible lending principles
n
Experience preparing credit proposals and handling applications end-to-end
n
Excellent communication skills (phone + written)
n
A patient, consultative approach with older customers
n
High attention to detail and strong compliance mindset
n
Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking
n
