Phu Bia Mining owns and operatesPanAust'stwo award winning operations – Phu Kham Copper-Gold and BanHouayxaiGold-Silver, bothlocatedin Xaisomboun Province, 120km north of Vientiane.

InPapua New Guinea, PanAust holds a 100 per cent interest in the Frieda River LimitedCopper-Goldproject, which is a transformativepre-
developmentintegrated
mining, renewableenergyand
infrastructureproject.

InChile, PanAust holds a 66 per cent interest in the Inca de Oro Copper-Gold Project through a Chilean incorporated joint venture company, Inca de Oro S. A.

The Role
n
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Risk & Sustainability Superintendentto join ourCorporate Head Officeteamon a12-monthfixed term contact, inFortitude Valley's James Street precinct.
n
Reporting tothe Group Manager, Risk & Sustainabilitythe role willsupportthe consistent applicationand
continuousimprovementofPanAust
'senterprise risk, sustainability andhealth,
safety,environmentand
community(HSEC)governance
frameworksacross the Group.The position will independently lead key risk and sustainability workstreams, including climate and sustainability reporting, enterprise risk management,
assuranceactivitiesand
Group improvement initiatives.
n
Key Responsibilities include(but not limited to):
n
n
Develop,ImplementandmaintainGrouprisk,
sustainability andHSECstandards,
procedures,systemsand
supporting tools.
n
Co-
ordinatesustainabilityand
climate reporting underthe Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards, including climate risk and opportunities assessments, scenario analysis, aggregation of data across business units,
internalreviewandassurance
readiness.
n
Supportpreparation of broader sustainability disclosures including GRI-aligned reporting, modernslaveryand human-rights reporting.
n
Coordinate implementationand continuous improvementof theGroup
EnterpriseRiskManagementFramework,
including strategic and operational risk reviews,risk registerscontrol assessments and management reporting.
n
Support critical-risk and critical-control governance and other Group HSEC improvement initiatives.
n
Provide input into the preparation of
monthly,quarterlyand
annual corporate reporting processes, including any National and Global sustainability reporting requirements.
n
Conduct or coordinate second-line reviews of business unit and project implementation of Group risk, sustainability and HSEC requirements andmonitoragreed actions.
n
Work with business units and corporate functions to strengthen sustainability data ownership,
methodologies,controlsand
supporting evidence.
n
Provide practical risk and sustainability advice to
operations,projectsand
corporate functions, including integration of new and developing businesses into Group frameworks.
n
Coordinate specialist input and governance forsignificant sustainability risk exposuresincluding
climate,environmental,social,human
-rightscyanide code, ARD,
tailings,closureand
land disturbance.
n
Develop and deliver risk andsustainability training and capacity buildingacross the Group.
n
n
To be successful in this role,you should have:
n
n
Relevanttertiary qualifications inrisk management,
sustainability,environmentalscience,
health and
safety,engineering,
business,governanceor
a relateddiscipline.
n
At least8+ years' experience with exposure to areas
inrisk,sustainability,
HSECgovernanceor
relateddisciplines.
n
Experience in mining,
resources,heavyindustryor
another
complexoperationalenvironment.
n
Experiencewith climate and / or sustainability reporting frameworks, preferably includingAASBS2 IFRS S2orTCFD.
n
Experience in conducting risk assessments,and corporate sustainability reporting.
n
A thorough understanding ofgovernance and assurance principles.
n
A proven ability toindependently manage complex workstreams and work effectively with stakeholders across multiple business units andjurisdictions.
n
n
International travel will be a requirement to this role. Candidates will need to be willing to travel to Laos, PNG & Chile if required by the business.
n
