We're currently looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. Whether you're looking for additional shifts, flexibility around other commitments, or a clinic where you can continue to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

This role would suit a Certificate II or Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse who is confident in their nursing abilities and comfortable working independently when required.

About the Role
n
As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting both our patients and our veterinary team.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures
n




Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical patients
n
Administering medications and treatments
n
Collecting samples and performing diagnostic testing
n
Providing nursing care for hospitalised patients
n
Maintaining patient records and treatment plans
n
Supporting clients through routine visits and more challenging situations
n
Managing admissions and discharges
n
Maintaining clinic hygiene, equipment, and treatment areas
n
Assisting with reception duties when required
n
Delivering outstanding patient care and customer service
n
n
As this is a casual role, we're looking for someone who can confidently work both as part of a team and independently when required. The ability to manage your workload, use initiative, and maintain high standards of patient care while working solo is essential.

About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Holds a Certificate II or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
n
Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience
n
Is confident and capable working independently when needed
n
Has strong medical and surgical nursing skills
n
Demonstrates excellent animal handling abilities
n
Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues
n
Is organised, reliable, and proactive
n
Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
n
Brings a positive attitude and genuine passion for animal care
n
n
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, advocating for your patients, and contributing positively to team culture.
