About us

Trigger Group has been working across Melbourne and the South East since ****. We specialise in hot water heat pumps, gas plumbing, solar and batteries, air conditioning, EV chargers and whole-home water filtration. There's about 20 of us, based in Pakenham.
n
The work is steady and there's enough volume to keep the team busy year round. Having licensed electricians and plumbers under the one roof (REC ***** and BPC *****) means we're not standing around waiting on another trade to turn up and finish a job.

The role
n
Full-time Plumber, based out of our Pakenham yard, working across Melbourne's South East.
n
Day to day you'll be:
n
n
Installing and replacing hot water heat pump systems
n
Removing and replacing gas hot water systems
n
Gas heater removals and disconnections
n
Gas cooktop removals, disconnections and upgrades
n
Split system installs (if licenced) or assisting our other licenced team members
n
Plumbing upgrades associated with hot water system replacements
n
General residential plumbing and maintenance work
n
Working alongside our electrical team on heat pump installations
n
Running jobs with an apprentice and helping develop their skills
n




Dealing directly with customers and providing a professional handover
n

What you'll need
n
n
Current Victorian Plumbing Registration
n
Current driver's licence
n
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
You turn up, you do the job properly, and you talk to customers like a qualified
n
n
Highly regarded (these put you straight to the front of the queue):
n
n
ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence — RSS03 (restricted split system) or full RAC01. AC install experience (pay may be reviewed/higher for Arktic)
n
Experience installing hot water heat pumps
n
Experience with gas hot water systems
n
Experience with gas heater and cooktop removals
n
Experience with residential plumbing upgrades
n
Experience working alongside electricians on heat pump installations
n
Previous experience running jobs with an apprentice
n

What we're offering

$80,000 – $100,000 plus super, depending on experience and tickets
n
Overtime on top
