There is an exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses with 4+ years' experience to take the next step in their career at a private hospital in Sydney. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with strong support for career development and the opportunity to pursue a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) pathway.

ABOUT THE ROLE
n
You will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care within a supportive and established nursing team.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing evidence-based nursing care whilst liaising with our multi-disciplinary team;
n
Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members, new graduates, Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
n
Delivering education and support to
individuals/patients
for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs;
n
Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs;
n
Acting as a role model for safe practice;
n
Ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS
n
n
Current AHPRA registration;
n
Authority to work in Australia;
n




Rehab nursing experience (desired);
n
Minimum 4 years nursing experience;
n
Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
n
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
n
Eager to learn, grow and make a positive difference;
n
Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
n
Work well both independently and within a team;
n
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet
objectives/timelines
;
n
Basic computer skills.
n

REMUNERATION
n
$***** - $***** per hour.

The hospital, located in Northern Sydney, is one of Australia's largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals, specialising in orthopaedics, cancer/oncology and neuro-spinal rehabilitation. The rehabilitation services are undertaken with a team-based approach, including rehabilitation specialists, resident medical officers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, social workers, psychologists, diversional therapists and nursing staff.
