Job Description
The role
n
We help people with disability become more independent, in their own homes and the community.
n
n
Active support: develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation and coach independent living skills
n
Health support: administer and document medication and follow health support plans
n
Positive behaviour support: manage behaviour triggers and escalation
n
Safeguarding: ensure safety of you and the participant, documentation and reports
n
n
About you
n
n
Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability
n
Sleepovers are a must for this role
n
Certificate IV Disability or related field
n
Experience in managing complex clients
n
Experience in reporting and preparing detailed handover
n
Experience with Intellectual and physical disability and personal care & hygiene
n
Manual handling experience with complex care
n
Assist with medication and domestic duties
n
Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights
n
NDIS Worker Check
n
National Police Check
n
Australian Driver's license
n
First aid certificate
n
