My client is an established Australian hotel group with a portfolio of well-known pubs across Sydney.
n
And I'll be upfront: this isn't a shiny corporate office with beanbags and Friday cocktails.
n
You'll work from the group's head office in Maroubra with a small, established finance team. It's busy and hands-on. What they can offer is stability, autonomy and the opportunity to become a genuinely important part of the business.
n
You'll gradually take responsibility for the accounts across several hotel venues, including:
n
n
End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
n
Bank,



credit card and supplier reconciliations
n
Recording daily venue sales and tracking gaming payments
n
Monitoring safe balances and venue floats
n
Payroll support and employee records
n
Assisting with month-end
n
Compliance and training administration
n
Preparing information and reports for Directors, stakeholders and auditors
n
General finance and administration support when needed
n
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Solid experience as an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or similar
n
Strong MYOB experience
n
Excellent reconciliation skills
n
AP and AR experience
n
Exceptional attention to detail
n
The ability to manage your own workload and deadlines
n
n
Experience within hotels, pubs, clubs, gaming or another multi-site business would be particularly valuable.
