Job Description
We are seeking a skilled labourer with a positive attitude and experience using hand/power tools to join our client in Bendigo.

This is casual work with shifts offered based on client requirements and operational demand. Hours may vary from week to week.

Key Responsibilities
n
Proven experience as a laborer with proficiency in using various power tools.
n
Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines.
n
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings is a plus.
n
Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
n
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
n
Store support
n
n
Assist with assembly
n
Assist with packing
n
Assist with company forklift requirements (forklift license required).
n
Assist with stock control and KANBAN measures.
n
Assist with receipting when required.
n
General equipment and jig maintenance
n
n
Factory duties
n
n
General cleaning of the factory & facilities
n
Packing & strapping of components ready for sub-contracting (e.g., gal/zinc) WH&S;
n
Comply with all company WH&S; policies, framework and work practices with the intent of preventing accidental exposures to self, team members, visitors and/or the environment.
n
Perform all duties in a professional manner, ensuring all behaviours and actions are appropriate and compliant to workplace policies and legislation.
n
Take reasonable care of own health and safety and understanding of how individual actions may affect others.
n

Qualifications
n
Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in construction or trades.
n
Solid work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
n
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
